Of course, political administrations will have their own differing interpretations, and you may visit such sites that are edited and censured to place the leaders in the most positive light possible.. Some "citizen" environmental organizations, likewise, will present a biased perspective. However, one important question is, "What does the scientific evidence indicate, and does policy reflect wise decision making based on that knowledge?" The concensus amongst professional biologists and professional scientific societies is that current administrative policy does not do this.
