This trip was in my mind going to be long getting there, then sort of laid back and stressfull.  Man was I wrong about the laid back.  The trip itself was on of the best parts, seeing the transition from one type of climate and habitat to the next, with some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.  After driving about 36 hours we made it to our destination and that is were the work began.  We had our four days of rotations and they were great.  Don’t get me wrong, but they were definitely work.  We did have some free time to spend with our new Kansas and Mexican friends during those four days.  After the days of rotation where over on Friday, we had a great time on the river boat rides and swinging and swimming with the crocodiles.  This was our last day with the Mexicans.  They left that afternoon.  After the Mexicans left that afternoon most of us who were left loaded up and went to a beautiful waterfall.  It was over 100 feet high and cold as ice.  We had a great time there.  On Saturday was the trip to Real Del Catorce.  This was the city were they shot the movie “Mexican” with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts.  This was a wonderful place where you could spend a week all in its self.  After spending two days here, site seeing, horseback riding, hiking, shopping and eating we decided to head for home.  By this time the trip for home was a welcome thing.  After being away for ten days we were all getting home sick and longing for a warm shower!  The trip home was as beautiful as expected with more scenery than I could stand to look at.  I would like to say this is the greatest group trip I have ever been on and thank all who made it possible.  I encourage anyone who reads this to consider going if you have the slightest sense of adventure.
